Bought this the other day, to replace older lights whose batteries had died (sad, that it's cheaper to buy new lights, than new batteries!).
They are what they are....cheap lights. But they work well, and if I remember right, they have NiMH batteries inside (unlike older lights, with NiCad batteries). The box says they're rated for 8 hours of illumination, but mine are lasting the 10-11 hours of darkness we're still experiencing, at this time of year.
^ Yeah it's a trade-off, the cheap NiMH cells have higher capacity but fewer recharge cycles and more sensitive to overcharging in summer, though at this price new lights are as cheap as replacement cells.

Thank you!
