This is what I bought last time. I posted about it on the 30L backpack deal because that one costs $14 and this pack is much bigger and nicer, and now it costs LESS than the smaller pack.
CeeDog, I have one of the 30L packs as well and use it daily. I'm kinda surprised that it's held up well for the last 2-1/2 months or so. I have found that the 30L is a little small for carrying the daily stuff that I carry, even between the house & car. However, because the 45L pack and the 30L pack appear to be identical in design, I think I'll pass on the 45L. My primary complaints are that the straps are flimsy, difficult to adjust, and uncomfortable and the carry handle is almost too small for average hands. I paid $19 for my 30L pack.
Let me emphasize, that FOR THE MONEY, these are great packs. I wouldn't mind paying more money for a daily-use pack that doesn't share these offending features. I'm unsure that I want to pay 8 times this cost for a Maxpedition pack, but by the time I purchase 3 or 4 les*ser packs to find one that fits my needs & preferences, I could have bought a Maxpedition. In my opinion (from experience), Maxpedition manufactures the best-constructed "tactical" gear.
