I've been doing free app of the day so long with
    Amazon
that only 20% of these are ones I don't already own. It's a sickness. :)

Every time I try to load a new app my phone doesn't have enough memory.
I go through the standard **** to free up memory.
Finally get the crapp installed and find out the thing is useless.

Lots of complaints online that the AVG app is outdated.

^ I'd rather an outdated version, AVG gets worse with every new ver.

I've downloading apps from the AMZN store and own hundreds of apps. I stopped for 1-2 years once because the store got so bloated that it would use a noticeable amount of battery on my phone. You must have the store installed to use the apps. They've since improved it, or perhaps moore's law just caught up to it.

I don't bother with Android AV, since I only add APks from the AMZN and goog play store. Your chances of getting infected through those is pretty slim. I'd rather take my chances than be forced to run some bloated AV that sucks down battery.
