The black are more versatile but keep a box of BLUE solely for signing documents to differentiate the scanned/copied versions.

These do tend to be pretty "wet" pens, especially on slick paper. I'm right-handed and still smear them occasionally. You might want to go for something else.

Nice pens. We use them at work and don't have any problems. Don't use pen and paper as much any more and we haven't had any dry out even when they sit in a box for years.
