As is never mentioned on here, the "Clip Coupon & Save" only applies to Subscribe & Save deals.

Yes. But
Amazon
is a smart business, so I'm guessing there is a limit on how many S&S's they'll let you sign up for if you keep ordering/cancelling.

This is not necessarily true. Often you can use a Clip Coupon without Subscribe and Save, merely needing to tick the box for a regular order instead of subscribe and save... and yes, i've done this when the price difference was small. Even though it reads "on first delivery", that does not mean it has to be subscribe and save.
