who determines if deals are sizzling?
I wish there was a clear way to tell which deals are truly worthwhile

Junk? Junk? You're calling a cooking thermometer for $10 junk?

There is, when you see the term "Sizzling!" you know it's the opposite. Same goes for "Selling Out!"

It's automagically calculated based on clicks per time period or something like that, not assigned that status by a person.

I think sizzling is determined by clicks on the deal

I've browsed through a couple of times. Seems like deja vu. Largely the same **** as last week, last year, maybe even the year before. All presented in the most intuitive list format. Headphones, kitchen **** that solves one uncommon problem, bluetooth junk speakers, etc.

The reason I come to sites like Ben's Bargains is so that someone will sort through the noise and track down some actual deals. Meh.

Didn't see ANYTHING worthwhile this year from
Amazon.
..the only store that somewhat impressed me, to my surprise, was
Target
, with some good deals on the iPad Pro...plus the iPad Air at Best Buy. Amazon just ain't what it used to be.

Have to agree on both parts about
Amazon.
.... Didn't see anything in the sale worth it and they REALLY aren't what they used to be. My last three Prime shipments have all either been late and one (deodorant which was "in stock") took 9 days as "Prime Shipping". I'm getting rid of my Prime as soon as it expires.
