This service will be awesome once self-driving cars achieve feasibility. You'll have zipcar garages everywhere and people can just use an app to order a car that will come pick them up anywhere. It'll be like Uber, except that it can scale a lot better once the human driver is taken out of the equation. People will be talking about how they're "cutting the car" the same way that they are now discussing "cutting the cable". Why own a car when you can have an on-demand car-as-a-service?
