It worked for me when I checked out with MasterPass on mobile. There's a spash page on 's mobile homepage with details of the offer, as well. Keep trying!

I used to buy from egg all the time.
Not anymore. When I really need something I can find a better deal some other place.
No consistent "other place" but I always find one.
So, when they have something I don't really really need I don't jump like I used to.
Other things bother me. Like the "manufacture's product page" link doesn't go to the specific product anymore. It goes to the manufacturer's homepage.
Watch out for 's Iron Egg guarantee! I bought something from them (expensive) and showed them the cheaper price with proof within the required time. They said "We cannot honor that price or our Iron Egg guarantee because that price is cheaper than we buy it for". Talk about a sad excuses for a guarantee from a big company! Watch out for anything guarantees!
I agree with other folks, the reviews are really detailed on I like the layout of the site and occasionally buy from them. I've bought my first 2 homemade PCs from them since parting them out by "cheapest" price from several places was more expensive and more a hassle than just getting it from
I need to build a new HTPC and Newegg is where I'll be.
Am having trouble checking out with masterpass on the mobile site (also tried the mobile spoofing app, but does not work....selected ANDROID as the spoof, but cart still detects that it's not a MOBILE.
So, even after using the MOBILE, it won't let you check out with MASTERPASS due to some server problems.
You can't even check out with MASTERPASS on their internet browser site either, says they are having server issues.....try again later I guess.
